Problem:
Unable to Log on to FTP Server: 530 Log on attempt by user rejected

Solution:
This error can occur if the AS/400 user ID is incorrect or the AS/400 password has expired and the user profile has been disabled.
Check the AS/400 to make sure the AS/400 user ID and password are correct and the user profile has not been disabled. The WRKUSRPRF command can be used on the AS/400 to verify this information.
Note: Sometimes company's change their passwords every 30 days, so ask them if they can create a user where the password never changes or expires.
Note: On V5R2 of OS/400 the password is case sensitive.
