Unable to open a document that was converted from IBM WAF/Visual Info

Problem:

User converted WAF document pointers into Image Server/400 and now the document will not open from within the Image Server/400 web browser window.

When doing a WRKACTJOB on subsystem QHTTPSVR and looking at the joblog of the web server, the following error appears in the joblog:

User not enrolled in system distribution directory. File /QDLS/RJSIMAGE/TEST.XLS not found. User not enrolled in system distribution directory. File /QDLS/RJSIMAGE/TEST.XLS not found. File not found.

Solution:

AS/400 web server user QTMHHTP1 must be enrolled in the system directory in order to view files store under the /QDLS file system. QDLS is where WAF/Visual Info used to store their image files.

1.) Use WRKDIRE command to bring up the system directory.

2.) Type a 1 in the Opt field and enter: QTMHHTP1 for the User ID and your system name for Address: XXXXXXXX (Ex: S1012254) and press Enter.

3.) Type: QTMHHTP1 CGI Web Server User for the the description.

4.) Type QTMHHTP1 for the User Profile

Press Enter to add the new system directory entry.

You should now be able to access documents store in the QDLS file system.
