Using Adobe Distiller to Convert Postscript Electronic Forms with the WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server

The following steps are required to convert Postscript Electronic forms to PDF. These forms are usually created with products such as CreatePrint other Postscript printer drivers
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING:
1. If you don't already have it, download WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server V2.0.58 or above.
-or- If you're using the V2.5 Batch Report Server
If you don't already have it, download the WinSpool/400 Batch Report Server V2.5.9 update.
2. Adobe Acrobat Distiller V4.0 or above must be loaded on the PC.
3. Create data area WSPDISTILL with the following command on your AS/400:
CRTDTAARA DTAARA(WINSPOOL/WSPDISTILL) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(50)
4. Enter the access code provided by RJS.
5. Enable the "Enable Postscript to PDF via Distiller" setting in Batch Report Server.
6. Use "PSC" as the output type for the output queue.
