Using WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms with WinSpool/400 Email Report Server

In order to use the WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms software with the WinSpool/400 Email Report Server the following steps must be completed:

1.) Download and install the WinSpool/400 Email Report Server Update (V3.0.50 or above) from the RJS Web Site. http://www.rjssoft.com/FILES/rjsesrup.exe

2.) Start the Email Report Server and enable the following settings on the "File/Setting/Reform" tab: - Enable Reform Report Conversion - Enable Amyuni PDF Writer Support

3.) Make sure all forms created with the Form Designer are set to print to the "PDF Compatible Printer Driver". If you don't have this printer driver, install the Amyuni PDF Converter from the "AMYUNI" directory on the RJS CD. You can also use the "Acrobat PDFWriter" if you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your PC.

4.) For the output type for an email recipient, select "FRM".

5.) When the Email Report Server downloads a report, it will associate the Electronic Form with a selected report based on the spool file name. The appropriate form will be merged into a PDF document and emailed to the selected recipient.
