Using cc:Mail and MAPIVIM.DLL with WinSpool/400 Email

If using cc:Mail as your Email system, you will need to perform the following steps so the WinSpool/400 Email software can recognize your cc:Mail Email system.

1. Copy the MAPIVIM.DLL file from the WSPMAIL directory into your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. After copying the file, rename it to MAPI.DLL

2. Add the cc:Mail system file directory to your PC file search path in the AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS so the MAPIVIM.DLL can find the cc:Mail system files (VIM.DLL etc...). The default cc:mail directory for cc:Mail Version 6.0 is C:\LOTAPPS\CCMAIL

After performing the above steps, the WinSpool/400 Email software should work with your cc:Mail software.
