Installing WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins

Please follow these instructions carefully to install WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins. If you experience any difficulties, you can refer to WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins's Troubleshooting page or contact Technical Support.

NOTE: If you are installing on Windows Server 2003 please read these instructions first.

Before You Install

Prerequisites	Corequisites	Upgrade	Optional
This software must be present prior to running the WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins installation. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API Microsoft Office	There are no software products from RJS that must be present in order for this product to work as designed.	There is no upgrade necessary after installation.	There are no optional software products for this application.

Installation

These instructions install version 1.0.15 of WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins

Step 1: Download

Download WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins from RJS.

Username = *********
Password = ***********

Step 2: Setup

As an Administrator, run wdiseriesofficeaddinsetup.exe. You will be presented with the WinZip Self-Extractor message.

Click Setup

Step 3: Check WebDocs Version

Please run the command below if you have not already, and ensure you are at the minimum required version (1.87) or above.

DSPDTAARA RJSIMAGE/VERSION

Click Next

Step 4: Welcome Message

You will now be presented with our Welcome Screen

Click Next

Step 5: Select Destination

Select the destination to where you'd like to install.

Click Next

Step 6: Begin Install

Click Next to begin the install

Click Next

Your WebDocs - iSeries Edition Microsoft Office Plugins should now be installed successfully.
