Installing WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API

Please follow these instructions carefully to install WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API. If you experience any difficulties, you can refer to WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API's Troubleshooting page or contact Technical Support.

NOTE: If you are installing on Windows Server 2003 please read these instructions first.

This software must be present prior to running the WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API installation. There are no software products from RJS that must be present in order for this product to work as designed. There is no upgrade necessary after installation. There are no optional software products for this application.

Installation

These instructions install version 1.0.29 of WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API

Step 1: Download

Download WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API from RJS.

Username = *********
Password = ***********

Step 2: Setup

As an Administrator, run webdocsiseriesapisetup.exe. You will be presented with the WinZip Self-Extractor message.

Click Setup

Step 3: Welcome Message

You will now be presented with our Welcome Screen

Click Next

Step 4: Select Destination

Select the destination to where you'd like to install.

Click Next

Step 5: Begin Install

Click Next to begin the install

Click Next

Step 6: Finish

Click Finish to complete the install

Your WebDocs iSeries Dotnet/COM API should now be installed successfully.
