If you will be full text OCRing documents, the following components also need to be installed:
ScanSoft OCR SDK

Run c:\program files\Scansoft\OPCaptureSDK12\Distribution\regcontrols.bat file to register ScanSoft OCR controls. Click OK after each control registers.
RJS Scansoft OCR Components

Register RJS Scansoft OCR by selecting Start/Run and typing the following:
"c:\program files\RJSIMGSCAN\ICRMASK\RJSZONEOCR1.EXE" /RegServer
Listed below are the basics for use:
1.) Start the program from the Start\Programs\RJS Image Server Batch\Image Server Batch Import option.
2.) Create one or more input directories to monitor from the "Table Entry/Edit Directory Monitor List" screen.
Field entries
File Directory - Windows path to monitor. Can use drive letters or UNC paths: Ex: D:\INPUT -or- \\SERVER1\INPUT Description - Text description of directory to monitor FTP Server - FTP server host name FTP User - FTP user ID FTP Password - FTP password Image Server/WebDocs User - WebDocs User ID Activate - Activate directory for monitoring Delete File - Delete file after processing Move File - Move file after processing Move to Directory - Move file to directory Set Read Only - Set the file as read-only after processing Zip File - Zip the file before checkin to WebDocs. Password - Password for the zip file.
3.) Create a directory import setting for the selected import directory from the "Table Entry/Edit Directory Import Settings" screen.
Field Entries
File Directory (Matches File Dir Name from Step 2.) Include file filter - *.* to include all files. IMG* for starts with *.TIF for ends with IMG*.TIF for starts with and ends with. Folder Name: String formatted as follows: FOLDER1/FOLDER2/FOLDER3 Example: TEST/ / - This example stores documents to the TEST folder. Notice the blank space is needed between (/ /) if folder 2 not specified * *RDXVALUE - use the folder value in the RJS index file. (The RDX file gets created from RJS Scan Workstation or when user written programs import docs.) Doc Type: Document type value * *RDXVALUE - use doc type value from RDX file. * Doc Title: Any text value -or- any of the keywords below: * *RDXVALUE - use value from RDX file. * *PCFILEPREFIX - PC file name left of extension. * *PCFILEDATE - Use the PC file prefix and date * *NOTHING - No value * *RDXVALUE01 - *RDXVALUE10 - Place the value from KEYWORD1 - KEYWORD10 in the field. * *PCFILEPREFIX1 - *PCFILEPREFIX10 - Parse the PC file prefix based on a FILE PREFIX delimiter set under File/Settings. Underscore is the default (_) * *PCFILENAME - Entire PC file name Doc Index 01 - Doc Index 10: Any text val ue or any of the special keywords specified for Doc Title. Activate - Activate the entry OCR documents - Perform full text indexing of TIFF, PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT or RTF documents being imported. The data ends up in the "Text Search" area of WebDocs.
Save TIFF/PDF as searchable - This option will convert a TIFF or raster based PDF file into a searchable PDF file. Note: This option can take a long time to create/process the text index for large documents, so don't use this unless you truly need your PDF image file to be searchable.
