The installation creates a program group named: WebSpool iSeries Spool File Access
WebSpool Program Group Options Available:
- Browse WebSpool Log - Displays the WebSpool error log C:\RJSTEMP\WEBSPOOLOG.TXT
- Browse WebSpool RJSTEMP directory - Browses C:\RJSTEMP directory. This is where WebSpool stores its log and any temp downloaded reports.
- Browse WebSpool WEBAPP directory - Browses C:\program files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.0\webapps\webspool directory. This is where the WebSpool Java classes and JSP pages are stored after installation.
- Edit WebSpool Properties - Edit the WebSpool C:\program files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.0\webapps\webspool\WEB-INF\WEB.XML file. This file is equivalent to a Windows INI file. Usually the only setting that needs to be changed is the IP address to the iSeries.
Note: Open the attached file: webwindows.xml for an example of the Windows based Apache settings for WEB.XML
- Monitor Tomcat - This option launches the Apache Tomcat monitor program which can be used to start/stop the Tomcat web application server.
- WebSpool Login - This is a URL that launches the WebSpool login on the server. When logging in from another PC, this value should contain the actual IP address of the Tomcat server PC instead of localhost. URL format: http://localhost:8080/webspool/index.jsp
