WinSpool/Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer Does Not Switch Automatically between Portrait and Landscape

Problem:
We have done some testing and have found that the Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer does not accurately switch between Portrait and Landscape modes when used under Windows NT 4.0. This appears to be a problem with the Windows NT version of the PDF writer from Adobe Systems.

Solution:
1. Print all reports in either Portrait or Landscape mode. The Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer settings can be hard coded to be either Portrait or Landscape.
2. Run the PDF Report Convertor under Windows 95 where the automatic orientation seems to work just fine.
