Word OLE Error 4608 Value out of range error

Problem:

The following error in the job log occurs when trying to run the OFCRUNPC command with the MERGELETTERPRINT directive to automatically print the document after the merge completes:

PC Command Error: 500 500 MS Word OLE error: 4608 Value out of range Trace point:1600. Cause . . . . . : This message is used by application programs as a general escape message.

Also, there may be specific printer trays to print to.

Solution:

Update to the iSeries Office Integrator PC Component V1.1.52.

The 4608 error is an acknowledged MS Word problem that can occur when trying to set printer trays in a document wiht a lot of pages or sections. The V1.1.52 fix will now attempt to set the tray info for each word document section if setting the trays at the document level fails.
