The MS Word "File/Save As" dialog is also displayed in Word after this error occurs.

Solution:

Make sure the ODBC data source has been created for the MS Word Mail Merging. See the FTP/400 User Guide Getting Started Section for instructions on creating the ODBC data source.

Another possibility that we discovered is if they pass the database file (txt, csv) path using forward slashes ('/') instead of back slashes ('\') they can get the exact same error along with the Save As issue.

5/17/04 LDJ - Also found that if you have your template and data source saved on the C drive you will get the same error. Customer had was getting the 5922 error and we moved his files to a subdirectory and then it ran fine.
